All events take place at Land’s Sake Farm, 90 Wellesley St, Weston, MA, unless otherwise noted.

January

February

Forest Walks at the Case Estates. Saturday, February 8th at 10 am. Land's Sake is managing the forest on a portion of the Municipal Purposes land at the Case Estates. If you're interested in learning more, join us for a Forest Walk. We will plan to meet in the parking lot by the Case Barn at 133 Wellesley Street (suggest parking on Alphabet Lane and walking over). 

Tapping Out Volunteer Day. TBD.  An annual New England tradition: help us install taps and buckets on Weston's maple trees! Location: 27 Crescent St, Weston (Land's Sake's OFFICE location. To get here via GPS, type in "25 Crescent St." That will bring you to Crescent St, and then look for a mailbox labeled "27" and a small "Land's Sake" sign above it. Go down the LONG driveway by that mailbox, which brings you to a small tan house. That's the Land's Sake Office.  To get here via old-fashioned navigation: Crescent St is off of Rt 20/Boston Post Road on the east side of Weston).

Tu B'shvat & the Local Trees. TBD. Join us for this fun, educational annual event for all ages! Tu B’shvat is traditionally a time to assess our field and fruit trees. Led by the Land’s Sake and Beantown Jewish Gardens educators, we’ll explore the sugaring process, from tree-tapping and wood splitting to boiling and bottling. Cost $10 per person non-member. Sugaring Off. Saturday, March 28, 9 am - 12 pm: CANCELLED. Tour our Sugar House, watch maple sugaring demonstrations, and enjoy a maple-y breakfast, all led by student in our Maple Education programs.  *Location: The Bill McElwain Sugar House at Weston Middle School (456 Wellesley St, Weston MA)*

April

Land's Sake Annual Meeting at the Weston Scout House (86 School St, Weston MA 02493).  Meeting online Thursday, April 2, 7:00 - 8:30 pm. Details TBD.  Please join us to celebrate Land's Sake! The annual meeting is open to the public. Land's Sake's Annual Meeting also includes a brief business meeting, including a report from our Executive Director Pam Hess and the election of new board members and the slate of officers.

June

Farmstand Opening Celebration. June 6 (After the celebration, the Farmstand will be open until 4). The annual opening of our Farmstand, complete with the first fresh greens from the farm, vendor tastings, live music, and family friendly activities.

Summer Solstice Dinner. Friday, June 19th -- Our summer farm-to-table dinner, enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.  Enjoy a delicious meal prepared by a local chef, with a virutal online toast and celebration.  Tickets on sale Thursday, May 28th. Purchase here!

Family Farm Nights. TBD: (currently planning for Thursdays: July 9, 16, 23 & 30, from 3 - 7:30 pm). Bring your blankets and appetites to celebrate summer nights on the farm. Visit Open Farmyard from 3 - 5 pm, and then stay to enjoy local food from a variety of vendors accompanied by live music. (Rain date: Aug. 6)

Summer Discovery. August 24 - 28, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. This program is the perfect opportunity for your younger kids to experience outdoor fun on the farm before school starts up in the fall.  For K-2 students. Learn more here.

Fall Farm Fest. TBD. All are welcome! Come celebrate the end of the season with us -- live music, food, cider, and activities for all ages.

November

Pre-Thanksgiving Sale.  Saturday, November 21, 10 am - 2 pm. Our very last Farmstand event of the season, visit us to stock up on all the storage veggies you need for the holidays and winter months.

December

Cut-Your-Own Christmas Tree Sale: Saturday, December 5, 10 am – 2 pm. An annual tradition, we'll provide the tools you need to select and cut your own Christmas tree from our fields.
*Location: Land's Sake's OFFICE location, 27 Crescent St. in Weston, MA. Holiday Wreath Making Workshop: Saturday, December 5, 10 am – 12 pm. Professional florists Trish Scozzafava and Jessica Pohl from A Natural Arrangement of Weston, invite you to join them to learn wreath making skills. Spend time with friends and create a one-of-a-kind decor to take home and enjoy all season! We provide clippers and supplies.
