Your support makes it possible for us to stay true to our nonprofit mission: connecting people to the land through education, community connections, and the food we grow, 30% of which is donated to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
As the demand for food continues to grow, so too have the challenges.
This year, for the first time, we had to turn away new hunger relief partners not for lack of will,
but because planning additional harvests requires both lead time and funding to make them possible.
We remain deeply committed to supporting our neighbors through seven local partner hunger relief organizations, providing fresh, culturally relevant produce to families in need. According to the Greater Boston Food Bank, one in three Massachusetts residents experiences food insecurity each year.
With your support, we can make sure that next year, no partner organizations are turned away
and every neighbor has access to healthy, locally grown food.
Our community partnerships extend far beyond hunger relief. This year, we expanded hands-on learning opportunities on the farm, in the kitchen, and throughout the community. A few highlights include:
- Brandon School high schoolers joined us weekly for hands-on fieldwork that built confidence
and connection. - Weston and Wellesley Council on Aging members nourished their bodies and souls while participating in a series of cooking classes, taking home new recipes, friendships and fresh produce.
- Record attendance at our free, biweekly Open Farmyard program, which now runs ten months a year, welcoming families to explore, play, and learn outdoors.
As we look ahead, your gift will make it possible to:
- Expand food donations to meet rising local needs.
- Sustain and strengthen the farm's infrastructure, including the farmstand, education barn, and greenhouse.
- Support scholarships and year-round education programs for children and adults alike.
Your support nourishes more than the land; it sustains the spirit of belonging, generosity, and shared purpose that makes Land’s Sake Farm so special. Please make your tax-deductible gift before December 31 to help us continue this essential work in 2026.
Thank you for being a part of our farm family, and for helping us nurture the land and each other, year after year.
