Chicken Figure Drawing Workshop

Date & Time: Saturday, May 17, 2:30-4pm.

Shape, form, line, movement, silliness — capture the beautiful essence of chickens (and maybe some ducks!) in this live figure drawing class. Artist and art teacher Sarah Hirsch will guide participants in a joyous discovery of the avian form. We’ll start off with a lesson about figure drawing basics (adapted to birds of course), and then jump into some pencil and ink drawings. Midway, we will have a group feedback “art critique” to see everyone’s work, get advice, and fine tune. In the second half of class, we’ll add watercolors or pastel for color and zest. Open to all ages and experience levels!
