EARTH DAY & BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
April 20th, 10am-2pm, 90 Wellesley St., Weston
Grab your work gloves and help get the Farm ready for spring! We’ll have a range of volunteer activities to take part in, including mulching, pre-season farm cleanup, and helping our farm team remove rocks from our fields!
Come see all the ways Land’s Sake works to inspire stewardship and sustainability! Great for environment lovers of all ages!
Activities and tables include:
- Hands-on volunteer fun!
- Face painting & rock painting, animal visits with our education team, and meet-and-greets with our farmers!
- Live music by Guy
- Delicious, local food available for purchase from Dumpling Daughter/ Heirloom , Ya Mother’s Truck n’ Kitchen Food Truck, Cape Ann Fresh Catch, and Fat Moon Farm Mushrooms
- Meet reps from local organizations: Weston Conservation Commission, Weston Forest & Trails, Barrett Tree Service, Weston Police and Fire Departments, and Tree-Plenish
- Get your hands dirty at the Flower Box Gardens flower potting shed
- Shop products from local artisans: The Unruly Stitch, Frank Hamm, Wood Worker, Polka Dog Dog treats, Kinnari Sanghavi Jewelry, B-Organics, Urban Pharm
Our parking lot will be closed during the event. Please park across the street at the community center or library. Walking, biking and carpooling encouraged.
