Picnic at Picnic Hill

Join Weston Forest and Trail, the Weston Conservation Department, and Land’s Sake on Sunday April 21, from 12pm to 2 pm for a picnic on “Picnic Hill” overlooking the original field of Green Power Farm.

On Earth Day 1970, a group of residents meeting on Picnic Hill hatched the idea of Green Power Farm / Land’s Sake. Come celebrate 54 years of farming, conservation and outdoor recreation in Weston. Bring a blanket and lunch. Desserts will be provided. All are welcome.

Picnic Hill is just to the east of the Weston Community Gardens on Merriam Street. Park at the Community Gardens or at the end of the driveway to the Green Power Farm field. There is no rain date.
