This is a free program for young children and caregivers. Activities are geared for ages 2.5 through 7, but children of all ages are welcome to participate.  A schedule will be posted near the parking lot at the beginning of each session. (Open Farmyard is weather-dependent and cancellations will be posted on our social media page.) This program is supported in part by a grant from the Weston Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency and is free for all, though we do accept donations. Chocolate Beet Muffins Tuesday, April 6, 10-11am

There is no better snack than a muffin! Join us at the farmstand for Little Kitchen Helpers to make seasonal muffins with the family. We will collect fresh Land's Sake vegetables and eggs, mix, bake, and eat our yummy creations!

Get into the kitchen with Little Kitchen Helpers and participate in a variety of cooking projects with a special focus on farm products! All materials included in the price. Please contact us for allergen information; most recipes can be adjusted!

We tailor this program for ages 2-4, but you are welcome to sign up slightly younger or older kids if you believe it will be a good fit for them. You must pay for all participating children (backpack babies excluded). Sibling discounts apply. One parent per two children is included in the ticket price. Please select additional adult at checkout if your party will include additional adults or caregivers.

Additional parking available across the street at the Weston Community Center.

Bring the family and a picnic blanket for live music, local lunch, and plenty of hands‑on fun. Enjoy face and rock painting, alpaca visits, farm animals, flower potting with Flower Box Gardens, and unique finds from local artisans. Help get the farm spring‑ready with volunteer projects like mulching, cleanup, and rock removal.

Tree walk: want to learn more about the history of trees on Land's Sake Farm? Join us on a tree walk, learn how to identify the different varieties and hear from Weston TAG's very own Nina!

Additional activities and tables include: 

  • Flower Box Gardens flower potting shed 
  • Hands-on volunteer fun!
  • Face painting & rock painting, animal visits with our education team
  • Alpaca visit 
  • Meet reps from the Town of Weston and other local organizations 
  • Shop products from local artisans
