Join us on the farm with your toddlers and small children! From interacting with farm animals, to cooking together in the kitchen, we have a variety of programs available. See below for more details. We love our hardy fall vegetables at Land’s Sake, and what better way to use fresh pumpkin and garlic than in a delicious and easy hummus-style dip! We’ll get to get our hands dirty scooping out pumpkin, mixing our ingredients, and taste test with carrot sticks. All materials included in the price.

Farmyard Storytime

Bi-weekly Farmyard Storytime meets on Monday mornings for a farm-themed lesson and storytime. We have alternating garden and animal themes covering a range of topics, from seedlings to chickens.

Farmyard Story Time: Seasons, Tuesday, December 9, 10-11am

Come relish the beginning of winter with a story celebrating every season! We will spend this cozy time exploring how animals and plants adapt for the winter, help them prepare with mulch and nesting boxes, and explore the signs of the upcoming solstice.

Family Farm Chores

Have your little farmers help out the animals! Join our livestock team as we feed the bunnies, collect eggs, give the animals new water and bedding, and learn how to care for our fluffy and feathered farm friends.

2025 Open Farmyard

Join us on the farm Wednesdays (3pm-5pm) and Sundays (9:30am-11:30am)

Join Land’s Sake educators on the farm for weekly activities, including stories, picking and planting in the Education Garden, exploring the chicken coop and more! This is a free program for young children and caregivers. Activities are geared for ages 2.5 - 7, but children of all ages are welcome to participate. Donations welcome. (Open Farmyard is weather-dependent and cancellations will be posted on our social media page.)
