Join Land’s Sake educators on the farm for  drop-in activities including stories, exploring the Education Garden, visiting the chickens in the chicken coop, meeting the goats, and more! This is a free program for young children and caregivers. Activities are geared for ages 2.5 through 7, but children of all ages are welcome to participate.  A schedule will be posted near the parking lot at the beginning of each session. (Open Farmyard is weather-dependent and cancellations will be posted on our social media page.) This program is supported in part by a grant from the Weston Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency and is free for all, though we do accept donations. Sign up is encouraged, though not required. SIGN UP NOW!  

Pre-order seedlings online beginning March 10 and pick up at the farmstand May 9, between 10am & 2pm.

Seedlings are available in 36 varieties, from tomatoes and squash, to zinnias and sunflowers! Our farmers plant and nurture these seedlings using the best potting soil around (VT compost, certified for organic production). No synthetic chemicals are used in spraying.

We'll even have time to visit the animals with any scraps and read a book! Maple Mixer: A cozy cocktail party at the farmstand Join us to support Land's Sake, and enjoy an intimate evening of bespoke cocktails, strolling appetizers, and divine desserts. March 26, 6:30-9pm $250 per person, includes a $150 tax-deductible donation. Your ticket purchase supports forest stewardship, and serves as your full contribution for the night.

Maple Mixer guests will have the first chance to taste and purchase our 2026 maple syrup! Your ticket helps sustain the dedicated farmers who transform thousands of gallons of sap into small-batch maple syrup right here in Weston. Funds also support the harvesting of over 30 cords of local wood, some used at the sugar house!

Guests will have a chance to speak with Brian Donahue, farm founder and Professor Emeritus of American Environmental Studies at Brandeis, to learn about the history of the Forestry and Maple programs at Land's Sake, and purchase copies of his book, Reclaiming the Commons and Slow Wood.

March 28, 9am-12pm Enjoy a New England Tradition: Celebrate the transition of Winter to Spring with our Sugaring Off Festival. Come by the Weston Middle School Sugar House for FREE tours, and see the amazing process of boiling maple sap into syrup!  Our forestry and education staff will answer questions and show you behind the scenes. This event runs rain or shine, and features:

• The first Land's Sake maple syrup of the season available for purchase (get it while it lasts!) (Our farmstand will be open at 90 Wellesley St from 10am-4pm not farm from the Middle School -- swing by for farmstand favorites, in season produce, and other local treats!)
• Pancake Breakfast available for purchase from Mamaleh's
• Free Sugar House Tours

Herby Cheese Crackers Tuesday, March 31st, 10-11am Herby cheese crackers are a farm favorite snack! Join us to make this easy, cheesy treat. We will harvest fresh herbs from the farm (when available), make a simple cracker dough, and cut our crackers into fun shapes.
