2024 Forestry Walk

To maintain our local forests, Land’s Sake – in partnership with the Weston Conservation Commission – selectively cuts firewood on Weston Conservation Land.

Join our Farm Manager, Brendan Murtha, Weston Conservation Administrator Jordan McCarron, and Land’s Sake founder, Brian Donahue, for a walk to learn more about our forest management practices and how we care for the forest to keep the trees, wildlife, water, and soil healthy. Get a broad overview of our plan and see the results of these efforts over the decades. Participants should be prepared for a short walk along the trail into the cutting site. All ages welcome!
